About the Athens Traders Association

The Athens Traders Association, is a non profit organization, founded in 1902. Members of the ATA are merchants of the greater area of Athens. ATA Administration Board is being elected every three years, with the last elections taking place in December 2011. The Administration Board :

The Athens Traders Association aims to the systematic follow-up, promotion and resolution of any issues concerning commerce. More specifically, its aims are:

  • to carry out research, collect and distribute scientific information about the legal, economic and social status of its members and provide solutions concerning commerce.
  • to inform its members about all issues of mutual interest.

Members of the Athens Traders Association are all persons active in the merchant profession or participating in a company, based in Athens. The majority of the members are active mainly in the sectors of clothing and footwear as well as in household goods, import of merchandise and companies providing services.
